BIG WAVES, SMALL FOOTPRINT
Ocean-inspired Surfing
Anywhere, Anytime
Our small pool footprint enables lower cost roofing structures without stadium like engineering. An indoor pool ensures year-round surfing, perfect for cold weather or seasonal environments so you spend less time waiting and more time surfing.
SurfLoch’s patented Wave Damping Technology ensures clean, consistent waves by minimizing unwanted currents and turbulence within the pool.
Perfect for private residences, boutique resorts, or developments with limited space—even indoors—this system brings the power of ocean-inspired surfing to locations once considered impossible. Versatile, efficient, and pure fun.
Key Features
True Surf Experience for less than 1 mw
With 10 caissons, the SurfLoch package is designed to be as efficient as possible – being powered by under 1mw of electricity. Suitable for accompanying on site power generation and a significantly reduced carbon footprint – this is high performance surfing, with low wattage.
One acre of Wet Area
At 2820 sqm of wet area, this pool is the equivalent of two olympic swimming pools. Suitable as an amenity to larger developments, accompanying other surf attractions or feasible to deliver two – side by side, offering differing conditions – this is the pool that can operate as a satellite to larger developments, making surfing more accessible.
Reduced Construction Cost
Given the smaller footprint, body of water, depth – this results in less concrete, less time on site and less infrastructure – making this pool model much more attractive on both Cap Ex and Op Ex scales.
Indoor/Outdoor
One of the first pools that feasibly can be spanned without stadium like engineering. This pool is currently being explored by various alpine resorts, with the view of covering to ensure year round surfing potential.
Pneumatic
Wave Technology
Behind the waves
The Surf System uses a row of large concrete chambers, called caissons, built along one side of the pool. Each caisson is connected to powerful fans that quickly push air in or pull air out. When the air pressure above the water suddenly changes, it forces the water below to move, creating a pulse that travels across the lagoon as a wave.
Surf Loch’s patented technology goes a step further by using advanced motion control to manage both air pressure and vacuum. This allows extremely precise control over how each wave is formed, making the waves more customisable and consistent than any other, period.
For in every wave we craft lies our promise:
- performance born of innovation
- reliability shaped by experience
- flexibility guided by design
- safety at the heart of every surge.
