MAXIMUM WAVES, MINIMAL WAIT
Surf left, right,
or A-frame anytime
The SurfLoch CrowdBreak is engineered for maximum wave throughput within a compact footprint of less than 5,000 sqm. Using SurfLoch’s patented CrowdBreak design, waves can be surfed left, right, or as A-frames — all within the same pool — delivering powerful, ocean-like rides up to 2.25m high simultaneously with multiple beginner zones, separated by deep water sections.
Key Features
Ultimate Capacity
The highest capacity SurfLoch Pool, where you can comfortably cater to 40 in the advanced and 32+ in the beginner area – using the paddle back scenario, this can be ratcheted higher with the use of the patented Surfer Gate and deep water entry – allowing queueing outside the pool.
The Patented X Reef
SurfLoch offers a software-based control system, where 80% of the wave is delivered by our software and 20% by the pool environment. Additionally, the Twin X-Reef employs SurfLoch’s patented reef design, to allow both left/right and A-Frame mode using the same reef configuration. With space for the wave to naturally shoal, the power is directly transferred into the wave, allowing it to propagate down the length of the pool and deliver epic wave quality from start to finish. With our extended pool option, the same wave can reform in a secondary wave zone, separating the advanced and beginner surfers – one wave with two simultaneous income sources at no extra energy cost.
Proven Wave Profiles
Surf Loch’s modelling software generates proven wave profiles to guarantee perfection from the start. After commissioning we employ AI algorithms to continue the formulation of new wave profiles to improve your venues operational profitability and surfer stoke.
Various Access Models
With innovative traffic flow solutions like the patented Surfer Gate system or step-offs from the caisson wall, surfers can paddle or walk back efficiently, reducing wait times and increasing ride frequency. This ability to decouple time from the surf experience boosts resort dwell time, enhances guest satisfaction, and allows operators to flexibly program sessions to meet demand during peak periods.
Pneumatic
Wave Technology
Behind the waves
The Surf System uses a row of large concrete chambers, called caissons, built along one side of the pool. Each caisson is connected to powerful fans that quickly push air in or pull air out. When the air pressure above the water suddenly changes, it forces the water below to move, creating a pulse that travels across the lagoon as a wave.
Surf Loch’s patented technology goes a step further by using advanced motion control to manage both air pressure and vacuum. This allows extremely precise control over how each wave is formed, making the waves more customisable and consistent than any other, period.
For in every wave we craft lies our promise:
- performance born of innovation
- reliability shaped by experience
- flexibility guided by design
- safety at the heart of every surge.
